Motivation

There is a time for daring and there is a time for caution. These are the times for the later and the former has to be kept under check for now. You do not need to fall prey to the temptations of the ‘external’ world. If you do so, it is at your cost and later becomes costly for the ones around you. There are always times of acting as Robinhood but there are certain times it is better to be the hermit.

Everybody wakes up. Most of the time in the morning. But the number of Sun-Seeing People is not a big one. We wake up to move out in the world. We wake up not to walk east to see the Dusk. We wake up to be a part of the working world which has timings to reach the offices. Opening your eyes is not enough to call it a day. Something more, worthwhile has to be done to the rise of the self.

Every day is not a Teachers’ Day. The remaining days are of the students. A Teacher, who teaches, does not demand days for his own stature. He is the ground, the base on which he himself keeps the clay moving to transform into a ‘carrier’ of Learning.

Do not worry. We are not at fault for this fall of mankind from being in lead to being home-bound. We have least to acknowledge as our error of judgement, the hamartia, which makes us the ones who seem to have brought this upon themselves. Our individualist approach has done something, which has led to this sense of loss.

We all have our own ways of surviving at the workplace, in relationships, in the community and in our own inner world. These ways vary and seem similar sometimes. We adopt and adapt to certain tips handed over by the marketed self-help professionals. Sometimes, we turn to our inner-self and get the real remedies.

God is not just a particle in our life. It is a product of belief and reason for a belief at the same time. We humans are very particular about our beliefs in the Supreme and look up to them for remedies. The question here is not of being a theist or atheist.

Approach to a challenge is the magic wand you have to make the difference. It is up to you, totally, whether you kneel down or stand up cautiously to a problem that is there for some time. We, humans, have seen disasters. We have a history of getting back to normalcy even after nuclear bombs ruin each particle of life. Coronavirus and the social distancing is a challenge and we need to win over again.

2020 is not just the coming of a new year in our lives. It is not just the shuffling of a page or removal of the old calendar from the wall. 2020 is the conclusion of the most happening decade of the 21st century.

Karma is one thing that is the pivotal point of our life. We might get engaged in any type of trivial pursuit, material race or self-appeasement by fabricating a comfort zone around us. But, when it comes to self-assessment and realisation of the purpose of our life, all these temporary shelters vanish with a blow of wind.
