Do not worry. We are not at fault for this fall of mankind from being in lead to being home-bound. We have least to acknowledge as our error of judgement, the hamartia, which makes us the ones who seem to have brought this upon themselves. Our individualist approach has done something, which has led to this sense of loss.

The absence of peace and the feeling of panic is what we have bestowed upon ourselves by ignoring the fundamental goodness of our hearts. We used to be good humans with space for others. Gradually we turned rigid and our Pragmatism made us look for profits in everything. We stretched ourselves to an extent where we lost our immunity - the one which is required to fight corona and to rescue us from the foreseeable depression. The ones who are cured and the ones who are going to make it to life even after getting infected with the menace of Covid-18 aka Coronavirus have immunity with sheer luck. Our lifestyles have been such that we have always been tempted to compromise with priorities. The same priorities that return as 'costly' things in the latter half of our age can be kept on a visible shelf in early days as well.

Our children, the ones in the age groups of below 18-20, are the ones who are to see a different world. After watching sci-fi Hollywood movies and playing PUB-G like games, they tend to believe that there are enemies who conspire against us. The worst is that they are getting to believe that there is a world against them and they need to keep fighting. The false realisation of fighting alone and being selfish shall not do any good to them. They might end up distracting everyone around. As a caution, in the current stage, we must not trust the health of anyone unknown but in the days, when this virus shall be controlled hopefully, the kids shall need to get back to a meaningful life.

The planet is asking to heal itself. The earth demands a remedy in the form of an emotional return and the positive ions of goodwill for fellow human beings, anywhere in the world. We may not be able to move out to help all we wish to, but there will surely be a day when we shall have the chance to make their lives better in some way. There will be a day when we shall get to move out and shake hands and talk and hug our loved ones again. There will be a day when we shall be back to earn money and holidays to travel.

But, millions around us will be there with a sense of loss, deprived existence because in these days of lockdown, they lost things; they lost their happiness; they lost their food and health; they lost their mental peace and confidence. We, who are going to make it to the other side of this deadly cave, shall stand geared up with the energy and strength to help them all. Our money shall help, but our positive thoughts and empathy shall help more.

At home, meditate, think, read and write, paint and sing and dance and be brave. We are not in the company of those who live in ignorant ways, but with ourselves. So make the best of it.

I leave you with a poem, a set of words which is so serene and is a prayer to follow!

Demand in situation and Crisis of today :
Kathleen O'Meara's poem, 'And People Stayed Home,' written in 1869.

And people stayed home
and read books and listened
and rested and exercised
and made art and played
and learned new ways of being
and stopped
and listened deeper
someone meditated
someone prayed
someone danced
someone met their shadow
and people began to think differently
and people healed
and in the absence of people who lived in ignorant ways,
dangerous, meaningless and heartless,
even the earth began to heal
and when the danger ended
and people found each other
grieved for the dead people
and they made new choices
and dreamed of new visions
and created new ways of life
and healed the earth completely
just as they were healed themselves.
