A Salute-Tribute-Thanks to Sam Berns 'The Communicator' who said: “No matter what I choose to become, I believe that I can change the world.” Happy Life is an easy thing to accomplish. We seldom give it a try and forget that it has been available around, but we ignored it.
Sam Berns unfolds life for us in his talks and in the biographical documentary made by HBO.
Happiness is a skill in this age of laughter clubs and life-clinics where we pay to buy 'happiness'. EklavyaParv salutes the Life of Sam Berns (October 23, 1996 – January 10, 2014) who has more to say in the less time he spent with us on this planet. Sam, a 17-year-old student at Foxboro High School, Foxboro, Massachusetts, was diagnosed with Progeria, a rare, rapid-ageing disease, at the age of 2. Having outlived the 13-years expected life expectancy, he gave real meaning to what it takes to be HAPPY. He lived with the wisdom of not feeling bad for the disease but lived with it. He wanted to be an engineer and inventor to give the world a better future. He lived with Hope and felt Good about himself. Progeria could not define his life. It could neither stop him from being Happy and share his Life Mantra with the world.
Sam Berns’s Philosophy for a Happy Life:
- Be OK with what you ultimately can’t do, because there is so much you CAN do
- Surround yourself with people you want to be around
- Keep moving forward
- Never miss a party if you can help it
EklavyaParv including him and his words as Learning to Communicate guidance. We need to learn that we can communicate effectively when we speak truly. Sam did and he does it every time we listen and watch him.
