Communication aims at forming relationships. These are earned both at the social level and at the workplace as well. However, we tend to celebrate the social

communication without giving it the deserving attention.

This dubious friendship with 'mannerisms' or etiquettes calls for a re-think and motivates us to learn 'Behaviour'. The following is an extract from a book that I have been consulting as a reference book for Business Communication and Communication Skills, i.e. Business Communication: Concepts, Cases and Applications by PD Chaturvedi and Mukesh Chaturvedi.
