PodMOOCs can be acknowledged as a distinct genre in the emerging domain of Tech-enabled Teaching and Learning. Education is no more a single-dimensional phenomenon; rather it has transitioned into unparalleled verticals. Audio Courses as PodMOOCs are the new talk of the learning world.
It was around 2010 that I had got actively engaged in the EduSoMedia idea of integrating Social Media in Education. Everything that followed in the next 10 years has been a pleasant realisation of the unending dream. Learning has turned into Life-long Learning now. Students have become the Flag-bearers and as the Teacher, I feel empowered and immensely proud of myself.
A few months ago, in a blog, I gave a shout-out about PodMOOCs (Audio MOOCs) and stated that these were not too far. 2019 started with Learning Radio Podcasts and the EduSoMedia model entered its 3.0 journey. Now, as a Teacher Podcaster, I have, not just wishes and predictions, but pieces of evidence and work to cite. I present to you a series of Podcasts in the PodMOOCs genre. These Episodes introduce various tools and technologies to bring ease in Teaching, Learning and personal enhancement. Being a teacher, I do see my fellow teachers and students, as the primary audience. But for sure, the life long learners shall also be benefitted from these. The content creation and the subsequent dissemination to all, interaction with participants and self-enhancement technologies are the offerings in this series. With 4 Mins Introduction and explanation of the goodness in a particular tool, PodMOOCs Mini carry a distinct sense of support.
